This is really important in business and in emergency situations.
- Direct Connect allows you to conference with up to 200 people. Nextel has developed the Direct Connect service and now it has more capabilities than that of a 2-way radio. If you have a small business, you can teleconference with your employees using Direct Connect. It’s a cost efficient way to communicate without spending so much money on cell phone minutes.
- Direct Connect allows you to send pictures without ending your call. For some people, taking pictures and sending them through their phone is an important part of their work. Usually, when you have to send a picture on your phone through MMS you’d have to end your call. But with Direct Contact, you don’t have to. Just take a picture using Nextel phones and send it using Direct Connect. That way, you won’t have to end an important conversation and you’re able to send relevant information quickly and efficiently.
